Here are some ways you can get points right now!
  • Bring a friend to a meeting! (1 point per friend, up to 2 points per meeting)
  • Work the Fall Fest table on September 28 (1 point per hour)
  • Take a picture with the giant pink chair at ZTA on September 28 and post to social media (1 point)
  • Luminaria Ceremony (tentative date: October 14)
    • Sell Luminaria bags for $10 each (.5 points per 5 bags)
    • Sell a Luminaria yard sign for $100 (1 point per sign)
    • Get one Luminaria sponsorship (2 points per $1,000 sponsor)
  • Attend Bark For Life on October 27 at the LSU veterinary school (1 point)
    • Send a picture of you at Bark For Life to cacpoints@gmail.com to get your points!

Here are the events that we're working on this year and a little bit about them! Luminaria Ceremony October 14 (tentative) The Luminaria Ceremony is a ceremony of remembrance and hope. It is a way to honor survivors and those who have lost the battle to cancer. It is a time to grieve for those we have lost, to reflect on our own or loved ones cancer experience, and to find hope that tomorrow holds the promise of a cancer-free world. This year, we hope to light up sorority row with Luminaria bags in honor of the cancer survivors in our community. Luminaria bags are $10 each and go towards cancer research. Sponsorships for this event are available for the bags ( $1,000) and yard signs ($100). Bark For Life October 27 Bark For Life is a fundraising event honoring the life-long contributions of our canine caregivers. Fall 2018 Meeting Dates

Meetings this semester will alternate between Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. The tentative location for each meeting will be 108 Nicholson . Meeting dates: Wednesday, August 29 Thursday, September 13 Wednesday, September 26 Thursday, October 11 Wednesday, October 24 Thursday, November 8 Wednesday, November 14 To become a member of Colleges Against Cancer at LSU, simply attend a meeting!
