Here are the events that we're working on this year and a little bit about them!

lost, to reflect on our own or loved ones cancer experience, and to find hope that tomorrow
holds the promise of a cancer-free world.
This year, we hope to light up sorority row with Luminaria bags in honor of the cancer survivors in our community. Luminaria bags are $10 each and go towards cancer research. Sponsorships for this event are available for the bags ( $1,000) and yard signs ($100).
This event is a direct replica of our super successful Young Professionals event, LipSyncBR (scheduled for December 5th 2018.) last year they raised over $50,000!
Luminaria Ceremony

Bark For Life
October 27
Bark For Life is a fundraising event honoring the life-long contributions of our canine caregivers. These dogs demonstrate unconditional love, joy, compassion, and no judgments of cancer survivors' abilities or appearances. The American Cancer Society Young Professionals group will be coordinating the event this year at the LSU veterinary school.Beat Bama Week
October 29 - November 2
Every day of Beat Bama week, we will be cheering on the LSU Tigers fundraising for the American Cancer Society through fun activities that celebrate our school spirit.Lip Sync Battle
November 2018
This will be a key fall fundraiser chaired by a LSU graduate in partnership with Relay for Life. We are working on a campus venue and will invite 8 contestants from across campus to battle it out in a lip sync competition. Winners will walk away with an amazing trophy. Each contestant will be encouraged to fundraise during the month of October for cancer research and they will progress to round two if they have raised $1,000 or more.This event is a direct replica of our super successful Young Professionals event, LipSyncBR (scheduled for December 5th 2018.) last year they raised over $50,000!
