Here are the events that we're working on this year and a little bit about them! Luminaria Ceremony October 14 (tentative) The Luminaria Ceremony is a ceremony of remembrance and hope. It is a way to honor survivors and those who have lost the battle to cancer. It is a time to grieve for those we have lost, to reflect on our own or loved ones cancer experience, and to find hope that tomorrow holds the promise of a cancer-free world. This year, we hope to light up sorority row with Luminaria bags in honor of the cancer survivors in our community. Luminaria bags are $10 each and go towards cancer research. Sponsorships for this event are available for the bags ( $1,000) and yard signs ($100). Bark For Life October 27 Bark For Life is a fundraising event honoring the life-long contributions of our canine caregivers.
